Ingredients:
4 Cups Pilit (Sticky Rice)
4 Cups Coconut Milk
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Table Spoon Salt
2 Inches Ginger (thinly sliced)
How To Prepare:
- Rinse and soak pilit for an hour.
- Cook coconut milk in a cooking pan then add the sugar, salt and ginger upon boiling.
- Continue stirring until thick.
- Add the pre-soak pilit in the coconut mixture.
- Continue stirring until pilit is thoroughly mixed with the coconut mixture then simmer (paanuki).
- Steam the cooked pilit for 30-45 minutes.
- Serve with mangoes and hot chocolate. Enjoy!
